Vizita maraton la Munchen. A fost perfect.

Ce mi-a placut:

– mirosul de migdale caramelizate cu scortisoara;

– carnati si covrigii traditionali;

– vin fiert;

– concert de colinde;

– mancare foarte buna;

– cafeneaua Dallmayr extraordinara;

– atmosfera de Craciun – era peste tot in jur;

– agitatia si forfota oamenilor la cumparaturi – daca stai deoparte undeva, cu o cana de vin fiert in mana este uimitor sa vezi oamenii alergand de ici colo in cautarea “cadoului perfect”;

– lume pestrita: italieni, romani, norvegieni, francezi si multi nemti bineinteles :);

– ciocolata Nutella – la micul dejun cu o chifla proaspata si o cafea buna… yammyyy.

Ce nu mi-a placut:

– magazinele sunt inchise duminica – macar cateva ore le puteau avea deschise in luna Decembrie;

– ca a plouat intr-o zi – oricum scurt, nu ca si la Bergen unde cand se porneste nu stii exact cand se mai opreste;

– oare de ce totul e atat de perfect la nemti?! – deja este enervant 🙂 ;

– ca imi doresc sa ma mai duc si la anul :).

Marathon visit to Munich. It was perfect.

What I liked:

– the smell of caramelized almonds with cinnamon;

– traditional sausages and bretzels;

warm wine;

– Christmas carol concerts;

– very good food;

– the extraordinary Dallmayr café;

– the Christmas atmosphere – which was everywhere;

the hassle and tussle of people going for shopping – if you just sit some place with a mug of warm wine in hand and just watch, it is amazing to see people running from place to place in search for “the perfect gift”;

– “colourful” people: Italians, Romanians, Norwegians, Frenchmen, and lots of Germans of course :);

– Nutella chocolate – for breakfast with a fresh bagel and a good coffee… yammyyy.

What I did not like:

– shops that are closed on Sunday – at least for a few hours they should have been open in December;

– that it rained one day – anyway for a short while, not as in Bergen where when it starts you don’t know exactly when it will stop;

– I wonder why everything is just so damn perfect with the Germans?! – it is getting annoying :);

– that I want to go there again next year :).
