Ajunsi acolo localul arata putin depresiv, era cam pustiu, fara muzica in fundal si era tare frig inauntru.

Il cred, si eu as face la fel…

English version

Last week we went out for a pizza at  Peppes Pizza in Nesttun (a city close to Bergen, Norway). For you who have never been to Norway, I can tell you that Peppes Pizza is a pizza restaurant chain that has restaurants all over Norway (like Pizza Hut or others in the same category). Until now we’ve been to other Peppes Pizza in Bergen city centre, but never to the one from Nesttun. Having a few free hours in a miserable afternoon, windy and cold outside, we were thinking that nothing would be better than a warm pizza :).

When we arrived there the restaurant looked a little bit depressive, quite empty, without music in the background and very cold inside. At  the end, when we finished to eat we were dead frozen. Really annoying. Next time we will stay home and we will order the pizza on line, it will be delivered in maximum 1 hour and we can eat it with a good wine.

Anyway, we ordered 2 different medium pizzas from their menu (Fly Away and Big Shot). After waiting 30 minutes, in an empty restaurant, we got 2 large pizzas. I was thinking that the waiter could have come and tell us that they don´t have the medium dough only the large ones. Then we could order a large pizza and split it fifty-fifty between the two types of pizza that we wanted. But I guess the waiter was sitting next to the pizza oven where it was warm. I truly believe him, I would do the same…

The pizza was not that great, the vegetables were not so fresh, the meat had a funny taste. We were not so hungry so we left home with whatever we did not mange to eat, and we paid the price for 2 medium pizzas. I do not recommend this restaurant at all, if you want to eat a pizza either try another Peppes Pizza restaurant in Bergen centre or order it via internet. The bathroom was OK, not too clean not too dirty, but the tables were not clean, even though it was an empty restaurant I guess they could have cleaned the tables. From me Peppes Pizza from Nesttun gets 2 Lilly flowers. I do not think we will visit them soon.
