Asta e mare pacat. Dar din cate observ s-ar putea ca Anglia sa le livreze si in Romania (transport in UE la 10 lire). Vezi aici.

I told you about my experience at the Monik remodelling centre, see here. After the precious advices from Miki (thank you very much for them) I started to use a bit colder water during showers in order to avoid or control the expansion of my blood vassels in my legs. Also I discovered this scrub, Guerande Salt Exfoliating Body Balm from REN which I use now weekly.

Checking the scrub a bit more thoroughly now I found out that it contains sea salt, basil, peppermint and olive oil besides other natural extracts: rosemary, grapefruit, almonds and others. Moreover it seems that this scrub does NOT contain parabens, synthetic perfumes, glycols, or other dangerous additives of the same kind.

I like very much to use this scrub during the evening shower, after a long tiresome day, when I have back or leg aches. After I make a massage with it I feel my skin refreshed, soft, smooth, relaxed and hydrated. I guess this is because of all the oils it contains. The sensation it leaves is very interesting, the skin does not remain oily but it is more creamy (the water runs smoothly off the skin), and the feet get really slippery (like I was on ice). In the end, after it dries out, everything is OK.

The smell of this scrub is a bit awkward, it does not contain any perfumes so do not expect any flower or jasmine scent :), it is an odour with which I personally got used to a bit hard. In the beginning it seamed to choke me because it smelled strongly like mint. In the meantime either I got used to it or the mint oil evaporated a bit more from it 🙂 because now I really enjoy the odour. :). Moreover, I know it is more natural than other commercial products of the same kind and does a lot of good for my skin and my blood vessels in my legs (expanded and ramified).

Unfortunately the REN products are not found in Romania. That’s a pity. But from what I observe they could get delivered from England to Romania (EU transport at 10 pounds). See  here.

Conclusion: This scrub deserves 5 lilies because it is exactly what my body needs.
