Delicios….

Pe cand ne-a venit si noua randul in magazin, am gasit foarte putine produse marimea mea, multe erau marimea 34 si 36, putine marimea 38 si rar haine in marime 40…

Parca meritau putin respect… Si daca ele nu, macar noi! Hainele asa intinse si aruncate pe jos, ici colo, probate la repezeala, cu fermoare trase rapid in sus, invartit in oglinda, stanga-dreapta, OK/nu-i OK, dat jos rapid… alta la rand…

Unde e distractia?! Unde e placerea?! In fond, e o haina “de firma”…

I went today. I was there. Together with H. Of course things didn’t turn out as planned. At 11 o’clock we did not find anything that we wanted. However we did buy something, I was not about to go back home with the money in my pocket and without that cool Versace bag. But, let me start with the beginning :).

I got to the city centre at 9:50, but actually the shop opened at 9 :). From a distance I was glad that there was so “few” people around. But, while waiting in line, I received an orange paper “bracelet”, which meant the I could enter the shop after one hour, meaning about 11:00. Moreover, I was about to have 15 minutes at my disposal to pick what I wanted, try it out and be out of the shop… luckily you had to pay for the stuff in some other place, after your 15 minutes…

During the one hour wait, we had a coffee and a chocolate croissant, at the ground floor of the mall, at the BIT cafe. A very good Cafe Latte, with lots of milk foam and a fresh croissant. Delicious… I liked their napkins with the “think of the environment” mark.

But the waiting sucked… and it was frustrating… People came and went with bags full of Versace clothing. People between 20 and 80, women, girls, old people, all of them buying Versace products… I saw some women with 4 bags stuffed with clothes, there were 80 year-olds with bags full of women’s (?!) clothes, lots of young women… and there was us waiting in line! I was thinking with fear that I would not get that leather jacket, especially that I needed a larger size, 40 or 42… And it was like that. When our turn came, there were very few products on my size, lots of them were 34 or 36, less in size 38 and rarely 40… I won’t tell about 42, they were long sold out…

I called my husband to check if he can order the jacket online, but of course the site was down due to the large number of visitors… After 12:00 I managed to get in the website, but of course the 42 and 40 sizes were already sold out. Question: I wonder if the big fashion houses have noticed that real world girls are not that thin, they are not size XS (Extra-skeleton), and that you need to be maybe about 14-16 years old to be a size 34?! Did they notice that real girls have shapes? Breasts and ass?! If so, why do they not produce more 40 or 42 size clothes if these sell the most?

Anyway, it was a bit of a madness, people would grab the clothes desperately, ran to the fitting room, try them out in and outside the room, there were clothes thrown everywhere… I asked if I could take some pictures, but they said no… a pity, it would have been interesting to show how it was… I felt that those shining, nice, expensive, dreamed about and wanted clothes probably deserved a bit more. Perhaps a bit of respect… If not them, maybe us! The clothes being thrown on the floor, here and there, tried out in haste, with the zipper quickly drawn up and down, one quick spin in front of the mirror, left-right, OK/not OK, take it off fast.. next one…

Where is the fun?! Where is the pleasure?! In the end, it is a “designer” clothing… Would you rather know that you picked it if the floor, thrown by who-knows-who because it did not fit, all crumpled and half turned inside-out?! I wouldn’t! I felt that I deserved a bit more, I felt I deserved some respect… I could not try out anything, with all the jostling and the crowd, with the staff yelling from time to time “7 minutes”… “4 minutes”… “2 minutes and a half”… “you have to get out now”… It was not for me…

So I chose some things that did not need to be tried out: a purse, a bracelet and a pair of tight pants, size 40, which I said that they need to be tighter, so I did not bother trying them:). I will go there in one of the following days to see if there is something left or if people did return some of the stuff.. A lady there said that it happens that people buy more things, without trying them and return them the next day… It is no wonder with all the crowd, haste and hysteria in there…

In a way it was to admire that H&M tried to put some “order in the chaos”, and only allow 10-20 persons in the shop for 15 minutes… but… but we are a “chaos” difficult to control… The Versace collection has as a theme the jungle, strong colours, animal prints… the shopping bag also inspires a hot afternoon, at a safari somewhere in Africa. After today’s experience I came to the conclusion that: we are a jungle! Or maybe the animals in it…

Conclusion: I got the coolest leather purse, ever :). My bracelet collection just got bigger by one, a cool leather one:). Both of them look so special, charming and strong. Wearing one of them, you don’t need any other jewellery. An you definitely get noticed…

P.S. It looks like I was not the only one that felt the same thing about the 15 minutes of “glory”.
