– febra ridicata;

– daca lucrati mult la calculator;

– va culcati des tarziu sau va pierdeti noptile :);

– sunteti expus la lumina stralucitoare pentru mai mult timp;

– arsuri de soare;

– calmarea sinusilor:

– stres si tensiuni;

– reducerea cearcanelor si a ridurilor;

– ochi obositi si/sau umflati;

– dureri de cap, migrene, insomnii;

– revitalizeaza pielea in zona aplicata;

– pot corecta chiar si vederea;

In the days when I am coming home tired from work, or when I am stressed, with headaches and/or eye-discomfort  I try to use a relaxing mask. Now I have 2 such masks which I use depending on what effect I am after. I bought these masks at the Little Duck shop from Lagunen, in Bergen, they are made of plastic and are filled with some sort of gel or liquid.

These masks can be used either cold or warm, according to your preference, you just have to hold them in the fridge or in a bowl with warm water for about 10-15 minutes, and then you apply them on the eyes for a delicate touch of the area. This kind of masks are extremely useful in a number of situations:

– high fever;

– whenever you work too much in front of a PC;

– if you stay up late or lose nights :);

– when exposed to bright light for too much time;

– sun burns;

– sinus calming:

– stress and tension;

– for reducing eye wrinkles and dark circles;

– tired and/or swollen eyes;

– headaches, migraines, insomnia;

– revitalises the skin in the area;

– it can even correct the eyesight;

The small mask (the blue one) applies more tension on the eyes, so I like to lay down when I wear this mask and I use it when I have a touch of fever and feel pain or discomfort behind my eyes. The bigger mask (the red one) is my favourite, I use it daily for 5-10 minutes, and I like it because it acts on a greater area of the face, it does not touch directly on the eyes but on the muscles around. If I feel that the mask is too cold and cannot bear it directly on my skin, I use a napkin between the mask and face. So, I can wear the mask like this for a longer time without cancelling its beneficial effect. Sometime before putting on the mask I apply some eye contour cream and then I warm it up and put it on to enhance the effect of both the cream and mask.

Conclusion: With a good cream applied around the eyes + one of these masks + a cup of tea + an extraordinary feet massage done by my husband = I could live forever… of course young and beautiful :).
