– noul stadion din Cluj si atmosfera de la concertele Semnal M, Compact, Voltaj si Scorpions!!! Pacat ca nu am reusit sa ma duc la Horia Brenciu, tare mult mi-ar fi placut sa il vad live;

– cafeaua de la Starbucks, super!!!;

– magazinul ZARA, de unde mi-am cumparat 2 chestii super dragute;

– magazinul SEPHORA, acum nu mi-am luat nimic de acolo, dar imi place extraordinar de mult sa ma plimb prin el si sa admir ce chestii faine si noi mai au;

– prajiturile nostre excelente si unice de la cofetarii;

– covrigii nostrii cu susan, mac si sare, pe care nu ii gasesc aici 😦 ;

– mancarea lui mama 🙂 ;

– castanele prajite la colt de strada;

– Pepsi Max Twist lemon :);

– expozitia de pietre pretioase de la Expo Transilvania, de unde mi-am mai cumparat cateva chestii frumoase;

– Kurtos de la Expo Transilvania, am cumparat 2 Kurtosi unu cu zahar si unu cu nuca;

– traficul absolut infernal, atat dimineata cat si la amiaza cat si seara;

– e greu sa gasesti un loc de parcare in centru;

… I am back in Bergen after I was in Cluj last week. It was very nice and beautiful, I enjoyed this time in Cluj and this “mini vacation” was welcomed. I did not imagine that I could do so many interesting things, new and wonderful especially that I knew I had to go to a 4 day course, from 10 am to 6 pm. I was a bit on the run all day, but I had time to meet my family, some friends that are dear to me and which I did not get to see for a long time, I met many new and extraordinary persons, which I befriended, went to two spa centers, went to a Bowtech course, organized a mini party for my daughter, went shopping and so on… I will write soon about all of these here.

This time I enjoyed mostly, among other things:

– the new arena in Cluj and the atmosphere from the concerts of Semnal M, Compact, Voltaj and Scorpions!!! Too bad I did not get to see Horia Brenciu, I would really have enjoyed to see him live;

– the Starbucks coffee, super!!!;

– the ZARA shop, where I bought 2 super nice things;

– the SEPHORA shop, I did not get anything from there now, but I like very much to walk through the shop and admire what cool and new things they have;

– our unique and excellent cakes at the confectionaries;

– our sesame, poppyseed and salt pretzels, which I cannot find here 😦 ;

– my mother’s food 🙂 ;

– roasted chestnuts at the street corner;

– Pepsi Max Twist lemon :);

– the precious stones exposition at Expo Transilvania, where I bought a few nice things;

– the Kurtos at Expo Transilvania, I got 2 Kurtosi, one with sugar and one with walnuts;

– the traditional Romanian products fair, where I bought a good romanian cheese, kept old just enough to give it an excellent taster, and Focsani cheese, made by an old and cute grandmother :).

– the Cluj Malls, it is nice to walk around and feel the bustle in a fall afternoon, well, and enjoy the shop offers :D.

God, I wonder who can bring all these things to Bergen?!!

What I did not enjoy?! Hm, maybe:

– the horrendous traffic, in the morning, but also midday and during the evening;

– finding a parking place in the center;

– the Cluj airport, where at 6 am there are 4-5 planes leaving for different destinations (Lutton, Budapest, Munchen, and perhaps Barcelona if I remember correctly), the boarding is done with buses with the doors open wide, in a cold that freezes your blood in your veins!!! This cannot be, in all airports in the world you can wear a T-shirt in the airport… only there we had to endure such cold, with my daughter and all the people dressed up to the teeth;

– the PREGO pizzeria in Manastur, with a cigarette smoke absolutely unbearable, no light above our table, tasteless pizza, a dark and smokey atmosphere of a down the alley bar. You won’t catch me in there anytime soon and I do not recommend it at all. Luckily my daughter did not need to go to the bathroom, who knows what I would have seen there too.

– the elevator in the Ary hotel (Magaziei street 19) I think goes slower than the slowest thing you can imagine. I don’t think there is something in the world that is so lazy. More than that, I order for it to go you need to keep the button pushed all the time, until it goes uuuuuup and dooooown. I swear my finger hurt after getting off it. Not to add that it does not even go all the way to the top, you have to walk up the stairs to the last floor.

Anyway Cluj is Cluj, it does not compare with anything else and I go back there anytime with pleasure and look forward to seeing it.

Next time… at Christmas!
