– 30 minute peeling pe intregul corp, 590 coroane norvegiene/ 75 euro;

– 25 minute hidromasaj , 560 coroane norvegiene/70 euro.

In zona piscinei a venit Marie si m-a condus in camera unde trebuia sa fac sedinta de peeling.

In fine, in timpul sedintei Marie mi-a acoperit apoi partile esentiale cu cate un prosop.

Pret: tratamente + produse = 2300 coroane norvegiene/300 euro.

Da-uri:

– posibilitatea de a-mi modifica sedintele de terapie la fata locului;

– halatul de baie si slapii;

– produsele de curatare a tenului, foarte bune;

– ceasca de portelan pentru ceai;

– sfaturile utile pe care le-am primit de la Una in legatura cu tenul meu si ce anume ar trebui sa folosesc pentru curatarea lui;

– muzica relaxanta, la nivelul potrivit;

Nu-uri:

– zona vestiarului si a dusurilor era uda pe jos. Pacat ca primesti papuci de casa moi si frumosi si ii uzi in primele secunde. Cat am stat eu acolo am vazut 3 persoane la piscina si la jacuzii, poate ar trebui sters pe jos in zona respectiva mai des;

– faptul ca trebuie sa te dezbraci complet in fata terapeutei m-a facut sa ma simt ciudat. Spre deosebire cand am fost la Aktiv 365, acolo Liv Kjersti avea o tehnica foarte frumoasa de a ma pune pe pat si nu ramaneam dezbracata in fata ei deloc;

– nailonul de pe patul pe care s-a facut peeling-ul, iti dadea o senzatie ciudata la piele. Nu inteleg de ce era acolo ca oricum cearceaful de sub folie s-a murdarit oricum in momentul in care Marie m-a dat cu crema pe corp;

– patul nu era reglabil, asa cum am spus sa te cateri pe un pat dezbracata complet cu fundul spre terapeuta nu cred ca fost foarte frumos. Nici pentru mine nici pentru ea;

– sticla fara sapun sau gel de dus din cabina de dus dupa peeling;

– peeling-ul nu s-a facut si pe talpile de la picioare, parca mi-ar fi placut sa imi faca un pic si pe calcaie;

– lumina din camera de peeling era ciudat pozitionata pe tavan aiurea, astfel incat imi batea direct in ochi in orice pozitie am stat cu capul;

– ceaiul pe care l-am primit la final nu era un ceai deosebit cum a fost cel de la Aktiv 365. Ma asteptam la un ceai bun turcesc sau cu arome orientale…;

– scurerea si diuzele ruginite/ingalbenite de la jacuzzi;

Topul SPA in Bergen (pentru moment):

English version

I went to my second spa session in Bergen. This time chose to go to Hammam Spa, which is situated inside the Radisson SAS hotel in the centre of Bergen. I made my appointment through phone, and chose the following treatments from their website menu:

– 30 minutes a whole body peeling, 590 kroner/ 75 euro;

– 25 minutes hydro-massage , 560 kroner/ 70 euro.

The Radisson SAS reception guided me to go to the underground level of the hotel. I got there about 15 minutes earlier and was met by miss Marie. I decided on the spot to change my hydro-massage treatment with a complexion cleaning treatment. So I got a 30 minute complexion treatment for 590 kroner / 75 euro.

Marie gave me a white robe and some blue slippers (the hotel colour) both made out of cotton and showed my the way to a dressing room where I had to change my clothes. In the dressing room you get a small cabinet in which you should put a 10 kroner coin to get it closed. After I undressed and put the robe on, I had to go out on the other side, so I had to go through the shower area and then I arrived next to the swimming pool. In the shower area the floor was very wet so after making a few steps there with my nice cotton slippers they got all wet :(. Then came Marie and lead me to the room where I was supposed to have my peeling session.

Peeling: The room for the peeling session had a regular, not warmed bed covered by a plastic foil, and it had a shower in a corner. I had to take my robe off, and since I did not have any other clothes on, I fell a bit embarrassed to show myself completely naked in front of her and then climb on the therapy bed. The bed was kind of high so I guess the view she had was not very pleasant :). Anyway, during the session Marie covered the essential parts with towels. For the body peeling session she used some salt combined with massage oil. the smell was not something out of the ordinary. After the peeling I had to get off the bed and take a shower. Again, a bit odd to take a shower in front of someone waiting for you to finish washing yourself. In the shower cabinet I hoped to get some liquid soap to wash the oil well off my body, but the bottle sitting there was empty… After the shower I got up to the bed again, in the meantime Marie had already removed the plastic foil, and Marie had applied a body lotion on my body. And that was about it, in the end she lead me in another room where my complexion treatment was about to start!

The face cleaning treatment: was done by another young miss named Una. I learned then that she would use complexion cleaning products from the American company Dermalogica. Una started by cleaning first my face and then she applied an exfoliant followed by a face mask and face cream in the end. While I was waiting a few minutes between each of these steps, Una made me a head massage which was very relaxing and comforting.

At the end of the session Una lead me to the pool area where there was a place to relax with long chairs. She offered me a tea which I took while browsing some newspapers. On my way back to the dressing room I walked by the pool and jacuzzi. What caught my eye was the fact that the draining in the jacuzzi seemed full of rust and the nozzles looked yellow and rusted as well. It did not look very well and did not make feel like relaxing in a jacuzzi bath, at least not for me. Passing through the shower area I got my slippers wet again and then I got back dressed up. From the reception I bought some dermatology products:

– exfoliant face powder (daily microfoliant) – 590 kroner/ 75 euro

– face cream (skin smoothing cream) – 460 kroner / 60 euro.

I already started to use these products and I will write a separate post about then here on the site.

Price: treatments + products = 2300 kroner/ 300 euro.

Yes’s:

– the possibility to change my therapy sessions on the spot;

– the bath robe and slippers;

– very good face cleaning products;

– I got a porcelain cup for my tea;

– all the useful advices I got from Una about my complexion and what I should use to clean it;

– relaxing music, at an appropriate volume;

– the products at the reception had all the prices visible, so it was easy to decide to buy something or not.

No’s:

– the dressing room and shower area were very wet. It was a pity to get nice, warm, fluffy slippers and then immediately get them wet. While I was there I saw three persons at the pool and jacuzzi, it may not be a big deal to mop the area a bit more often;

– undressing completely in front of the staff made me feel a bit weird. Unlike when I was at Aktiv 365, where Liv Kjersti had a very nice way of getting me up the bed and I was not put in the situation to show myself naked in front of her;

– the plastic foil on the bed, during the peeling session, it gave a weird sensation on the skin. I don’t understand really why it was there since the sheet underneath got anyway dirty when Marie applied the body lotion;

– The bed was not adjustable, like I said before, having to climb up completely naked with the therapist’s eyes on you was not very nice, for both of us I guess;

– no soap or shower gel in the shower after the peeling session;

– the peeling was not done on the foot’s sole, I would have liked to get some dead skin removed off my heels as well;

– the light in the peeling room had a off potion, as it was always in my eyes no matter how I turned my head;

– the tea I got was not something special, unlike the one I got at Aktiv 365. I was expecting a good Turkish or oriental tea…;

– the rusted, yellow drain and nozzles at the jacuzzi;

Unfortunately I did not find at the Hammam spa the warm, relaxing, “at home” atmosphere which I got at Aktiv 365. I consider that there are quite a few things that need improving at Hammam and if I were put to choose between these two centres, I would gladly return to Aktiv 365. Hammam Spa gets however 3 lilies from me.Top SPA in Bergen (for the moment):

Din experienta iti spun ca lumea care ajunge aici e socata de preturi… apoi se obisnuieste… sau pur si simplu nu mai transforma in RON-i 🙂
